This species was described from the holotype (male) from NWAFU (Northwest A&F University, Yangling, Shaanxi, China ). It is similar to T. philagroides (Jacobi, 1914) in external morphology, but can be separated by the long, glabrous ventral processes of segment X ( Fig. 54 ) and by the slender style with two processes apically ( Fig. 57 ). In T. philagroides the ventral processes of segment X each have a small spine apically ( Fig. 207 ) and the style has three or four processes ( Figs. 209, 211–213 ; Nielson 1977 : 36, Fig. 79 ).
