Discussion.
Our study of
D
.
furva
indicate that the evenly bent outer branch of the gonostylus is diagnostic, and suggests it is a valid, distinct species. Therefore, we have removed it from the synonymy with
D
.
bifida
Zilahi-Sebess
which has a gonostylus that is sharply bent at midlength.
This species is a boreal Holarctic faunal element.
