This species is distributed from southern Colombia ( Nariño ) to northern Ecuador ( Paramba ) ( Eades et al. 2016 ). Has been recorded in several localities of Nariño : Guayacana , Diviso , Barbacoas and Ricaurte in heights ranging from 700 to 1000m . The previously described chromatic variations 2 ( Figs. 1 A,B), 3 ( Figs. 1 C,D), 5 ( Figs. 1 E–H) and 6 ( Figs. 1 I–L) were found at the Ñambi River Natural Reserve ( Descamps & Amedegnato 1973 ). Specimens examined. 4 males and 7 females (PSO-CZ).
