Diagnosis.
Mandibles elongate, distinctly cross each other. Clypeus truncate apically, often with lateral carinae. Cephalic foveae absent. Vertex sloping behind ocelli. Anterior face of pronotum with shallow foveae, close or contiguous with pronotal face punctate laterally (

). Pronotal carina usually present. Mesepisternum with epicnemial carina present. Pretegular carina usually absent. Tegula little longer than wide, emarginate posteriorly, not reaching posterior end of parategula. Scutellum convex or flat. Metanotum oblique, not dentate. Axillary fossa wide. Propodeum with no dorsum behind metanotum, sloping posteriorly. Superior carina absent. Propodeal orifice wide dorsally. Submarginal carina produced as pointed process above valvula. Propodeal valvula free from submarginal carina posteriorly. Metasoma subsessile, T
