Type genus: Hispanocader n. gen. Included genera: Hispanocader Diagnosis. Head nude, without macrochaetae. Antennae 4-segmented. Antennal segment I is very short, segment II is the longest. Eyes are large, especially their part, located on the ventral side of head, where they cover a significant part of its surface. Simple ocelli present. Rostrum long, 4-segmented. Bucculae widely divergent anteriorly and broad open in front, so that clypeus seen from the anterliorly and dorsally. Pro-, meso-and metasternal laminae on the sides of rostrum absent. Hemelytra and the lateral margins of pronotum (paranota) small areolated. Pronotum does not cover scutellum and leaves it completely exposed. Hemelytra divided by longitudinal veins into costal, subcostal, discoidal and sutural areas. Stenocostal area absent. Discoidal and sutural areas divided into large areolae by transverse veins. Hemelytral venation comparatively rich. Veins R+M and CuA not confluent in the apical part of hemelytra. Clavus separated from corium by comissure. Ventral surface of hemelytral base has a short transverse groove passing from scent gland pore to costal area. Abdominal laterotergites broad and separated from mediotergites by suture dorsally and ventrally. Tarsi 2-segmented.
