Remarks. This may be a new species, as only Peltodytes quadratus Regimbart , 1895 is recorded from South Africa (perhaps in error - see van Vondel, 2010) and this does not match the specimens collected. Only two females were found during this survey, making either positive identification or description impossible at present. Distribution. Unknown. St Lucia records. Not previously recorded from St Lucia. Recorded at Western Shores and Eastern Shores in January/February 2015, during the course of this study. Figure 9.
