Lakshadweep

Venkataraman
et al.
(2004

2012
) listed it from there under its well known junior synonym,
C. scabriusculus
Dillwyn. Discovery
of the long lost
holotype
of
C. coffeae
Gmelin
by Coomans and de
Visser (1987)
, also illustrated by
Kohn (1992: Figs. 79, 80)
, allowed replacement by the earlier name.
Franklin
et al.
(2013)
recorded it from
Andaman and
Nicobar islands
