Recognition. This species is similar to
P. maryatiae
sp. nov.
and
P. vieti
sp. nov.
, but is well distinguished from the latter by the petiolar node posterodorsally with paired teeth in the worker. Sexual forms of this species are unknown.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
