Remarks
Specimens from New Britain differ from those from New
Guinea
in having the body larger (reaching above 4.0 mm length) and the yellowish border running along elytral margins distinctly broader. Thorough comparison of genitalia and other structures, however, leave no doubts that the populations from these two islands are conspecific.
