Discussion
. This species is easily recognized by its strongly contrasting color pattern, consisting of a predominantly black head, pronotum and scutellum, and predominantly pale white hemelytra with a broad, black transverse fascia behind the claval apex (
Fig. 7
). The foreleg possesses five stout spines along its posterior margin (
Fig. 9
), which are proportionally longer than those present in
L. gakalae
.
