Diagnosis of male.
Character states of the
reticulata
-like species group. Dorsal shield with anterior edge nearly transverse or slightly convex and lacking a prominent nipple- or dome-shaped projection anteromedially; edge of shield linear or slightly convex in area between eyes and humeral region and not conspicuously indented posterior to humeral region, forming a modest humeral angle; a moderately well-developed hump present anteromedially forming apex of a well-developed arching ridge that curves posterolaterally from hump and meets edges of dorsal shield near its midlength to enclose a well defined depressed area posteromedially extending to posterior edge of shield (

); posterior edge rounded and bearing three pairs of slender, short and straight setae (

). Ventral shield with posterior edge convex and bearing three pairs of slender, short and straight setae adjacent to genital field (
Fig. 2
).
