Only the larva and pupa of Trichocnemis spiculatus LeConte, 1851 , have been described ( Craighead 1915 ). The larva of this species has: integument with texture leathery, dull, finely and densely rugose; pleural discs on six abdominal segments, finely rugose; epistomal margin projected above clypeal base at extremities; additional carina above epistoma bearing four large, blunt rounded teeth; three stemmata scarcely visible; mandible acutely triangular, rugose with upper and inner face dully striated; posterior area of pronotum finely rugose; legs 5-segmented. FIGURES 1‒9. Myzomorphus quadripunctatus (Gray in Griffith, 1831) . Larva: 1, epistoma, clypeus and labrum; 2, epipharynx; 3, 4, apex of antenna (ventral, dorsal); 5, 6, maxillolabial complex (ventral, dorsal); 7, maxillary palpus and palpifer (dorsal); 8, spiracle thoracic; 9, leg (prothoracic). Bars = 0.5 mm, except figures 3, 4, 7 = 0.1 mm. FIGURES 10‒17. Myzomorphus quadripunctatus (Gray in Griffith, 1831) . Pupa: 10‒12 habitus (dorsal, lateral, ventral). Larva: 13-16, mandible (dorsal, ventral, external, internal). Adult: 17, habitus dorsal. The pupa has disc of the pronotum smooth, and remainder areas finely rugulose; mesonotum and metanotum glabrous, transversely wrinkled; abdominal tergites with microspines; gin-traps on tergites II–III, III–IV, IV–V and V–VI; last tergite dorsally with two short, conical, fleshy protuberances.
