, but the apex of cucullus is slightly pointed whereas in the latter it is nearly parallel-sided. The yellowish costal patch on the forewing is very small and obscure. The abdominal segment VIII with V-shaped sclerite dorsally; a pair of hair pencil well-developed; sternite uniquely modified as shown in

). Characterized by the uncus broadened apically, cucullus elongated, strongly upturned, slightly narrowed apically, slightly convex on costal margin; cornuti consisting of a low of setae medially, a long plate apically, and series of conical spines (these spines probably removed in this specimen)
