REMARKS. This is one of a group of species in
Bolivia
including
C. doxiptera
,
C. ensifera
n. sp.
,
C. gemella
,
C. hamata
n. sp.

C. viridicata
that are similar in size and monochromatic coloration. It can be distinguished from all but and
C. viridicata
by the bronzing of the distal fore wings found in the remaining species and instead having longitudinal lines within of the fore wing apical cells. It can be distinguished from
C. viridicata
by the anterior margin of the supra-antennal plates is angled in the middle rather than being smoothly curved, the lateral angle of the pronotal collar forms an approximate right angle rather than being curved, the posterior opening of the timbal cavity is smoothly curved rather than having a right angle on the ventral margin, the male opercula have a curved rather than a straight posterior margin, and the basal lobe appendage extending along the midline with the terminus bent at a right angle and crossing to the contralateral side of the body rather than forming a C-shape as they do in
C. viridicata
.

).
