Miridiba malaccensis
(
Moser, 1912
)
Holotrichia malaccensis
Moser, 1912: 441
(
type
loc.:
Malacca
,
Malaysia
).
Miridiba malaccensis
–
Matsumoto 2011: 1
, figs 1, 10, 12 (combination).
Diagnosis
See
Moser (1912)
and
Matsumoto (2011)
.
Remarks
Matsumoto (2011)
transferred this species to
Miridiba
based on several non-type specimens from
Malaysia
. We were unable to examine
type
specimens and it is not possible to confirm or disprove the transfer of
H. malaccensis
to the genus
Miridiba
(
Matsumoto 2011
)
until the
types
are studied. Then, we consider the taxonomic status of
H. malaccensis
as it is currently established (
Matsumoto 2011
) and, according to figures of the male genitalia (
Matsumoto 2011
: fig. 12), we include this species in the morphotype IV “
Bidentata
”.
Distribution
Malaysia
(
Malacca
).
