Syntype NHMUK 1896.5.1.3 (2 shells; Fig. 3J, K).
Remarks.
There are two specimens in the type lot with original labels in
Smith's
handwriting stating
"Type"
. The original description gives one set of measurements and illustrates one specimen. The specimen that corresponds to the illustrations in
Smith (1896b
: figs 4-6) and the given shell measurements in the original description and has a red spot on the last whorl is figured herein (Fig. 3J).
