, well-developed furcula and bidentate or tridentate mucro. Slender body shape, from small to median size. Eyes from 0 + 0 to 8 + 8. Color usually pale. Integument smooth, with rare exceptions. Furcula present, mucro separated from dens, bi- or tridentate. Manubrium with 1–8 pairs of anterior setae. Dens slender, smooth or crenulated, continuously narrowing towards its apex.
