In the original description this species, recently described from Guizhou (
Zhou & Zhou
2005
), was compared to
I. gracilis
but not to
I.
peregrinus and
I.
birmanus,
that would be more reasonable geogra p hically. S9 was described and shown to be entirely black (
Figure 3a
) as in
I.
birmanus.
The schematic original figures (Figure b, c) do not show well the paraproct shape, while the cerci are shown to have so long proximal part that the inner spine is situated proximally to the middle of their length (distally in other
species
of the group considered). To clarify the taxonomic
position
of these specimens, their reexamination of photographs are necessary
