Description according to Malaise, 1945 : Male. Body length 6 mm . The upper half of mesopleuron red, lower half white; dorsal part of antenna, ventral side of mesepisternum, mesepimeron, mtapleura, most of pronotum, basal 2/3 of sterna, and almost the entire upper side of head and body black; white are: labrum, clypeus, broad inner orbit, 3 spots each on mesonotal middle and lateral lobes, spots on middle of all scutelli, broad hind margins of all sterna, large spots on the deflexed parts of all terga. Legs sordid white, black are: a narrow stripe along outer side of metafemur, apical 2/3 of metatibia, tarsomere 1 and apex of tarsomere 5; hind tarsomere 4 and base of tarsomere 5 possibly red. Wings hyaline, stigma pale green, veins dark brown. Antenna shorter than combined length of thorax and abdomen, flagellomere 1 as long as flagellomere 2; median fovea absent; postocellar area flat, 1.5 times as broad as long. Face on and around frontal area, mesonotum and all pleura finely and densely, but distinctly punctured. Female. Unknown.
