Remarks.
Thaumatodryinus
is a relatively rare genus. The most important taxonomic character of females is the presence of tufts of setae on FIII-VIII (
Olmi, 1984
,
1993
;
Olmi & Bechly. 2001
). There have been eight extant species recorded from the Oriental Region (
Xu
et al.
, 2001
). However, no extant species has been recorded from the Palaearctic Region. Host information for this genus is limited, but some species have been reared from the fulgoroid family
Flatidae
in the Nearctic, Neotropic and Australian Regions (
Guglielmino & Olmi, 1997
).
