Giordani Soika (1996) reported this species from China (one female) but did not mention either the locality or the depository of the specimen. We discovered one female identified by him in RMNH. From his statement “Lee Tie Sheng-AGS” we conclude his reference to China is based on this specimen. The translation of the labels is as follows: “[ CHINA ] Yunnan , Xishuangbanna, Menghun, 1750m , 2.vi.1958 , Yi-Ran Zhang , [ Institute of Zoology ] Chinese Academy of Sciences , 52 Allorhynchium lugubrinum , det. Giordani Soika , 1981”. Yunnan is a new record for this species. Distribution. China (* Yunnan ); India .
