Distribution
. According to
Ragge (1969)
, this species occurs over a large part of
West
and
Central
Africa, extending from
Guinea
to
Ethiopia
, and southwards into northern
Angola
.
Habitat.
Ragge (1969)
reports that it is a typical species of high-grass savanna. The collecting site in
Ethiopia
has no savanna habitat, but is situated in a wet forest edge (
Figure 2
c).
