Nilsson 1988” ( 1 male , ZISP ); “ China , Qinghai prov., Qingshuihe, 1.- 5.7.1992 , 4200m ”, “ Agabus tibetanus Zaitz. Det. Anders Nilsson 93” ( 1 male , CLH ). Remarks. A very rare species, known only from a very few specimens apart from the type series. The type locality is Toso-noor (Toson-Hu) in the Province Tsinghai (Qinghai) of China , at an elevation of about 4000 m . We were able to study one paralectotype from ZISP. Contrary to the redescription by Nilsson (1990) , the male protarsal claw is definitely not longer than protarsomere 5. Distribution. China (Tibet) at an elevation of around 4000 m .
