Comment : The original description is based on an unspecified number of syntypes , among them at least one male , from “ Libanon : Beirut ” ( REITTER 1882 ) . Claude Besuchet (unpublished notes) examined the following material: 1 . “ Beirut . type . coll. Croissandeau in Mus. Paris ”; 1 : “ Libanon . Sahlberg. Mus. Helsinki”; 1 : “Fleuve Lycus, Liban . Sahlberg. Mus Helsinki”; 1 : “ Beirut . Appl. coll. mea [now probably in Muséum d'histoire naturelle, Genève]” . Claude Besuchet´s drawing of the aedeagus (probably of the male in his collection) is illustrated in Figs 68–69 . Based on this drawing, C. judaeum belongs to the C. corruptum group and is most closely allied to the following species. It has been reported only from Lebanon (SCHÜLKE & SMETANA 2015).
