Male genitalia (
Figs 7–9
) unique with the long digitiform anteroventral process of epandrium, which bears a long seta (
Fig. 7
). Phallus (
Fig. 8
) comparatively small, apex blunt. Parameral setae not in the plane of hypandrium + gonopods: the two pairs are not situated in a plane but above each other.
Female oviscapt (
Fig. 10
) with mainly blunt marginal and acute lateral pegs. Spermatheca (
Fig. 9
) short ovoid, surface smooth.
This is probably the commonest species of the genus, which is widespread in the Oriental region from
India
to
Taiwan
and Java.
