Remarks: Encentridophorus similis resembles E. spinifer Koenike, a species known from Africa from which it differs in number of long, heavy setae at the posterior idiosoma margin (3 4 vs. 6 in E. spinifer ). Lundblad (1969) considered Encentridophorus similis Cook to be synonymous with E. spinifer . Habitat: Ponds Distribution: India .
