Remarks.
This species was described by
Pruthi (1936)
as a member of the
Deltocephalus
group (
Deltocephalini
) but later
Webb & Heller (1990)
transferred this species to
Jilinga
.
Xing
et al.
(2012)
illustrated the male genitalia. It can be distinguished by the following combination of features: anal tube appendage branches short with several small teeth; subgenital plate divided by deep concavity into two lobes; apophysis of style transverse and broadened distally; aedeagal shaft wide in posterior view, with approximately 7 asymmetrical teeth on lateral margin and apex produced medially.
