Diagnosis
.
A. grumi bicolor
(
Figs 4–6
) differs externally from the nominate subspecies (
Figs 1–3
) by the darker and more monotonous blackish ground colour of forewings; in the male genitalia,
A. grumi bicolor
(
Fig. 13
) has a somewhat narrower apical part of valva, more or less C-shaped ampulla (in the nominate subspecies the ampulla is more or less Sshaped), less sclerotized medial part of vesica, and a longer and narrower sclerotized plate in medial part of vesica; in the female genitalia,
A. grumi bicolor
(
Figs 21, 22
) has a more chalice-shaped and stronger sclerotized antrum.
Distribution
. The subspecies is known from the Himalaya and southwestern
China
.
