Figs 64–65 , 81 , 87 Type material . Holotype : ɞ from São Paulo [ 23º32' S ; 46º38' W ], São Paulo, Brazil , no date, no collector ( IBSP 27478). Etymology. The specific name is taken from the Tupi Indian language and means “long and slender” and refers to the tip of the embolus of the male palp. Unchangeable. Diagnosis. The males of Caayguara poi sp. nov. resemble those of C. atyaia sp. nov. by the very slender tip of the embolus bent prolaterally ( Figs 59 , 64 ). They are distinguished from the latter by the bifid embolus with small ventral keel and inconspicuous pars pendula ( Fig. 64 ; vk) and RTA with smooth spine-like dorsal projection and no ventral spines in the male palp ( Figs 64–65 ; dp). Description. Male (IBSP 27478): Dorsal shield of prosoma orange, with very faint brown marks at the base of cephalic region. Chelicerae, legs and pedipalps orange. Sternum pale yellow, with orange margins. Labium orange. Endites pale orange, distally lighter. Opisthosoma brownish gray. Dorsally mottled with white spots and distally brown. Total length 8.2. Prosoma: 3.7 long, 3.3 wide. Opisthosoma: 4.4 long, 2.3 wide. Eye diameters: 0.24, 0.24, 0.20, 0.24; interdistances: 0.16, 0.04, 0.32, 0.24, 0.16, 0.12. Leg measurements: I: 23.9 (6.2, 2.3, 6.9, 6.5, 2.0); II: absent; III: 17.8 (5.2, 1.8, 4.8, 4.6, 1.4); IV: 20.0 (5.7, 1.7, 5.4, 5.5, 1.7). Spination follows the generic pattern (leg II absent). Palp ( Fig. 81 ): RTA with long dorsal projection and subdistal lobe ( Figs 64–65 ; dp, sl). Embolus with bifid tip, long ventral keel and inconspicuous pendula ( Fig. 64 ; vk). Female: Unknown. Distribution. Only known from the type locality ( Fig. 87 ).
