: Amu Darya.—General distribution: Aral Sea system.— Habitat: This species is found near the surface of open waters in large rivers and lakes. Semi-anadromous individuals forage and spawn in pelagic environments. Lacustrine populations spawn in open water in lakes. Freshwater.
