Valid species described from Kaliningrad Area, European Russia ( Zaddach 1855 ). Indian populations must be studied in detail for confirmation of their status. Distribution. Keeping in mind that in the Americas the genus is represented by a series of species ( Rowe et al. 2007 ), we can assume that H. gibberum s. lat. in Eurasia is probably also complex of cryptic species with unknown areas of distribution.
