May 28 1921 [printed]\ EPVanDuzee Collector [printed]\ Centris vanduzeei Ckll Type. [handwritten]. Type locality Mexico : Baja California Sur State : Isla San José. Comment According to Moure et al. (2007) , there is a female paratype housed at NMNH, but it was not found in that collection.
