The syntype is partly damaged and the right elytron is missing. Current status. Valid species. Remark. Although the specimen was subsequently labelled as the holotype , HELFER (1833) described this species from a number of specimens of both sexes without having designated the holotype , and no subsequent lectotype designation has been published. We thus regard this type specimen as a syntype .
