Material studied. 1 ♂ , Jamaica , Kingston , 06.1908, leg. M. Cameron ( MHNG ) . Remarks Alloraphes jamaicae is the type species of the genus. Only two type specimens are known so far, col- lected in 1968 by Herbert Franz in the Blue Mountains. The specimen recorded here was found over a half century earlier in or near Kingston , south of the Blue Mountains.
