Female
: Body length
3.2–3.75 mm
, fore wing length
4.1–4.33 mm
.
Head:
Antenna 31 segmented, longer than combined length of head, mesosoma and metasoma, sparsely setose, terminal segment pointed, simple (not acuminate), 2.0 times longer than wide, penultimate segment 1.33 times longer than wide, first flagellomere 1.2 and 1.3 times longer than second and third respectively. Scape 4.0 times as long as pedicel. Inter-tentorial distance 1.75 times tentorio-ocular distance. Face setose, transverse in frontal view, 1.3 times wider than high (
Fig. 20
b), width of face 0.53 times width of head. Head polished (face coriaceous only) (
Figs 8
a, 20c), transverse in dorsal view, 1.8 times as broad as long, head extended considerably above to level of eyes. Eye height 1.38 times width of face, eye glabrous in dorsal view. Temple strongly receding behind eye. Stemmaticum with round edges, posterior ocellar line: transverse diameter of posterior ocellus: shortest distance between posterior ocellus to eye=3.3:1.0:2.5.
Mesosoma:
Almost entirely setose (
Fig. 20
d), shiny, 1.6 times longer than maximally high. Pronotum smooth laterally. Mesoscutum sparsely setose. Notauli weakly but distinctly impressed, 0.84 of mesoscutum. Mesopleural sulcus absent. Scutellar sulcus narrow and finely crenulate. Propodeum shiny, smooth, largely glabrous medially except for sparsely distributed setae and a longitudinal furrow on each pleuron.
Wings:
Fore wing (
Fig. 20
e). Ratio of length of veins SR1:3-SR:r=4.9:2.2:1.0. Ratio of length of veins 2- SR:3-SR:r-m=1.7:2.0:1.0. Veins 2-M & 3-SR, 3.30 times & 2.00 times as long as r-m, respectively. Vein 1-M straight, bent forward interiorly at more than right angle to meet pterostigma. Vein 1-SR+M straight. Vein cu-a interstitial to marginally post furcal. Veins 1-M and m-cu converging posteriorly. Ratio of length of veins 1-M:mcu=1.7:1.0. Vein 3-CU1 curved posteriorly.
Hind
wing. Evenly setose. Vein SC+R1 1.6 times length of 1r-m Vein rm1 2.5 times length of R1.
Legs:
Claw simple. Ratio of length of hind femur:tibia:basitarsus=1.84:2.26:1.0.
Hind
femur (excluding trochantellus) 2.6 times longer than maximally deep, rather flattened laterally, entirely setose, broadest at middle.
Hind
tibia entirely setose.
Hind
basitarsus 4.8 times longer than maximally wide. Outer hind tibial spur reaching approximately 0.4 of distance along basitarsus.
Metasoma:
Almost entirely setose (
Figs 8
c, 20f). First tergite rough, sparsely setose, weakly crenulated. Second tergite sparsely setose, finely and weakly crenulated, 1.8 times longer medially than third. Third tergite sparsely setose, crenulated. Second and third tergites less transverse, second tergite 1.57 times and third tergite 3.0 times as wide apically as long medially. Fourth and fifth tergites sparsely setose, crenulated. Hypopygium large and protruding beyond apex of tergites. Ovipositor sheath
1.75–2.15 mm
long, ovipositor pointed at apex, without a distinct nodus. Lower valve of ovipositor with no teeth visible at
x40
magnification.
Coloration:
Head yellow brown except for dark brown frons (area around ocelli), eye brown. Mesosoma and legs yellow brown, hind tibia and tarsus slightly darker. Wings almost clear, venation and pterostigma brownish. Metasoma yellow brown, ovipositor sheath dark brown. Sternites with yellow markings.
