Male. Length 10.5–10.9 mm , width 4.6–5.0 mm. Antenna similar to that of A. yuae . Genitalia ( Fig. 34 ) with median process moderately flattened ventrally, with a weak, longitudinal, medial ridge at dorsal surface; lateral processes short and wide; endophallus with lateral spiculae long and recurved apically. Female. Similar to that of A. yuae . Diagnosis. See the diagnosis of A. taiwana . Agetocera yuae differs by the laterally flattened median process and the long and narrow lateral processes of the male genitalia. Type material ( 12 specimens ). Holotype 3: “ Formosa Karenko (= Hualien city), -- 19, VII 20-VIII 4. T. Okuni, / Agetocera taiwana Chûjô DET. M. CHUJO ” ( TARI ); 533, same data as holotype ( TARI , JBCB ). Other material examined ( 6 specimens ). 6ƤƤ, same data as holotype ( TARI ). Distribution. Taiwan (Hualien city; Taitung: Chiponshan). Etymology.
