Diagnostic description
. Body strongly convex. Length
0.9–1.4 mm
; greatest width 0.6–1.0 mm. Yellow to yellowish brown; shining, microsculpture absent. Head moderately finely, irregularly punctate. Antennal club moderately slender. Eyes large. Pronotum finely, sparsely punctate; sides rounded, posterior angles rounded. Elytral striae impressed; strial punctures coarse, closely spaced; interstriae finely, sparsely punctate. Flight wings fully developed. Vertical face of mesosternum broad, not medially carinate. Metasternum finely, sparsely punctate medially; coarsely, densely punctate laterally. Mesofemur with posterior margin expanded in both sexes, often with median and/or apical tooth-like expansion. Metafemur with apical tooth-like expansion in males, and also some females. In both sexes, mesotibia evenly widened to broad apex, strongly spinose; metatibia narrower, strongly spinose. Male with conspicuous pale setae ventrally on pro- and mesotarsi. Median lobe of aedeagus (

) constricted at middle and rounded apically, curved dorsoventrally; paired apices inwardly curved. Parameres moderately slender, extending slightly beyond apex of median lobe, each bearing 2 apical setae. Inverted internal sac medially with 2 consecutive structures with broadened bases. Spermatheca with 2 connected oblong pieces.
