Type data: This species was described based on an unknown number of females collected in an undetermined locality. A single female in good condition bearing original Lepeletier’s label collected in Brazil was found at MNHP . This specimen probably belongs to the type series of the species and it is here designated the lectotype , despite the incongruence on the local of provenance. The specimen has the following data label: dorsata [handwritten]\ [green label] Museum Paris [printed] Brésil [handwritten]\ [red label] holotype [handwritten]\ white circular label ( MNHP ). There were not found additional specimens of this species with Lepeletier’s labels in MNHP or OUMNH . Type locality: Brazil . Comments: This species was correctly interpreted by Moure et al . (2007) . According to these authors, its distribution range includes the Department of Cochabamba in central Bolivia and the states of Goiás , Minas Gerais , Paraná , Rio Grande do Sul , Santa Catarina and São Paulo in central-west, southern and southeastern Brazil .
