Remarks. This subgenus contains two described species ( Jeannel 1962 ; Maddison et al. 2013 ) (Fig. 1F) and at least three undescribed species. Males are characterized by having a brush sclerite, and by having an extremely elongate flagellum, so long that it can only fit within the median lobe through folding ( Maddison et al. 2013 ). Members of this subgenus occur on steep sand or clay banks of rivers and creeks.
