Male: 3.0–
3.5 mm
; female: 3.5–4.0 mm.
Greenish yellow; ocelli pale green; head with 3 pairs of irregular black marks and short longitudinal black bands between ocelli and eyes.
Male abdomen. 2nd acrotergite with trunk horizontal, anterior processes stout and large, neck about half as long as trunk width. 2nd tergal apodeme reaching 1/2 of tergite posteriorly. 1st sternal apodeme with posterior lobes as long as wide. 2nd sternal apodeme reduced.
Male genitalia. Aedeagal shaft base broad with lateral flanges, distinctly swollen, broadest near mid length in lateral view, apex narrow; apical appendages divergent.

Remarks.
The treatment of
M. latiaedeagus
Dai, Li & Chen 2008
as a synonym is based on the same
type
localities and following characters: forewing elongate, surpassing end of abdomen; aedeagal shaft distinctly swollen and broadest near midlength in lateral view.
