Diagnosis.
Aedeagal, median rod apically with 2 claw-like projections (“Fig. 16” in
Chen & Máca 2012
).
Supplementary description.
Supracervical setae approximately 11. Dorsomedial, tentorial apodeme 3/4 as long as basal, parallel portion of dorsolateral, tentorial apodeme. Arista with arb = 2/0; apical, leaf-like expansion distally dilated, apically with small, awn-like projection. Cibarial, medial sensilla 7–8 per side; posterior sensilla approximately 6 per side. All tarsi entirely yellow.
The antisymmetry is observed in the postgonites: in A-type, the left postgonite is a broader, large plate with 2 moderate and 1 small, strongly sclerotized projections and 1 long, less sclerotized process, but the right one narrower, with 2 long, strongly sclerotized projections and 1 long, less sclerotized process (“Figs 16, 17” in
Chen & Máca 2012
); but in B-type,
vice versa
.
