TYPE LOCALITY AND TYPE SPECIMEN ( S ) .— Maite River at elev. ~ 915 m , Cuernos de Negros , Negros Oriental Prov ., Negros Id. , Philippines . Holotype : CAS-SU 18907 . PHILIPPINE DISTRIBUTION ( ENDEMIC ) ( Map 29D [p. 140]).— Cebu , Negros (Prov.: Negros Occidental, Negros Oriental ), Panay (Prov.: Antique ). CONSERVATION STATUS [IUCN] .— The conservation status of Oxyrhabdium leporinum visayanum has not been assessed for the IUCN Red List [2016] ver. 3.1, but IUCN notes that it is listed in the Catalogue of Life under the species name O. leporinum and under this nomen it is shown as Least Concern (IUCN [2016] ver. 3.1).
