Previously found associated principally with the flowers of various species of Wahlenbergia , less commonly with flowers of Fabaceae : Papilionoideae ( Aspalathus ), Malvaceae ( Hermannia (Mahernia) ), and Scrophulariaceae ( Peliostomum ) (see Gess and Gess 2003 : 57).
