Specimens seen in the vicinity: Sandy Run [Hancock]: Taggart SARU 241 (WNC!). Though reported by Taggart (2010) as occurring in anthopogenic wetlands and swamps, specimen label data for Taggart's voucher indicates that the specimen occurred "as a single colony within [a] wet savanna", where growing with numerous species of savanna affinity, including Ctenium aromaticum , Panicum virgatum , Polygala ramosa , and Rhynchospora spp. [= RAB, FNA, Weakley]
