Adults of this species were captured in Lindgren funnel traps deployed in mature hardwood forests with American beech, sugar maple, and white ash, an old red oak forest, and an old red pine forest. Adults were also collected from under bark of a fallen beech log in mature hardwood forest and from alder ( Alnus incana (L.) Moench) foliage in a mixed forest.
