( Figs 1a–f , Figs 2a–h ) Description Vertex reddish yellow, apex with two black preapical spots, ( Figs 1a, c ). Face brownish yellow, sides of frontoclypeus with reddish orange horizontal stripes, reddish orange medially ( Fig1. d ). Pronotum brownish, anterior margin with reddish pattern; posterior margin reddish yellow, with U-shaped ribbon in middle field ( Figs 1b, c ). Scutellum yellowish brown with basal triangles black ( Figs 1a, c ). Male abdominal apodemes short, not exceeding 3rd sternite ( Fig. 2h ). FIGURES 1. a–f. Male genitalia. Pygofer lobe with microsetae scattered, caudal margin sinuated ( Fig. 2e ); pygofer dorsal appendage expanded at base, narrowed and curving at apex ( Fig. 2f ). Subgenital plate with 2 macrosetae on lateral surface, and row of peg-like setae from subbase to apex, several microsetae scattered on apical portion ( Fig. 2d ). Style long and slender, with 3 points at apex, preapical lobe distinct ( Fig. 2a ). Connective nearly U-shaped, with central lobe small and stem short ( Fig. 2g ). Aedeagus slightly asymmetrical; shaft tubular, tapered distally, with large flangelike dorsolateral lobes fused to sides of shaft and partly wrapped around dorsal part of shaft; preatrium short; dorsal apodeme columnlike, connected to base of pygofer appendage by sclerotized V-shaped dorsal connective; gonopore subapical, on ventral surface ( Figs 1e, f and Figs, 2b, c). Measurement. Male length 3.2–3.3 mm , female length 3.3–3.4 (including wing). Material examined. Holotype : , CHINA , Yunnan Prov. , Jinghong , 2021.Ⅴ.20 , coll. Guimei Luo . Remarks. This species is similar to Arboridia changlingensis ( Jiang et al, 2021 ), but differs in having the vertex apex with two black preapical spots ( Figs 1a, c ); the pronotum brownish with reddish pattern on the anterior margin ( Fig. 1c ); the abdominal apodemes not surpassing the 3rd sternite ( Fig. 2h ); the connective nearly U-shaped, with central lobe small and stem short ( Fig. 2g ); the aedeagal shaft without a pair of long tapered processes but with large dorsolateral flanges partly wrapped around shaft ( Figs 1e, f and Figs, 2b, c). Etymology. The new species is named after its type locality: “Jinghong” City, Yunnan Province , China .
