Imago (fig. 36): Wingspan
11–12 mm
. Head and appendages whitish, maxillary palpus ¾ diameter of eye, labial palpus 1.5 × diameter of eye. Thorax and tegulae pale ochreous. Forewing ground colour ochreous, costa whitish with a sequence of blackish patches, two fascias only represented by some dark brown scales, termen black preceded by some dark brown scales, fringe dark fuscous. Hindwing pale ochreous; legs whitish.
Male genitalia: not known.
Female genitalia (fig. 99): Ostium almost as wide as ovipositor, antrum with lateral sclerotisation, ductus bursae curved and scobinate, junction with corpus bursae as well as spherical corpus itself covered with sclerotised ridges
Diagnosis: Distinguished from other species in the genus by the weak fascias and very dark termen of the forewing.
