Male genitalia: Illustrated by Mey (2011) : Uncus tapered, gnathos of similar length to uncus, valva pointed, sacculus terminating in a small hook, aedeagus with 4–5 strong cornuti. Female genitalia: Illustrated by Mey (2011) : ostium and antrum wide, seminal duct prominent, ductus bursae wide and wrinkled, corpus bursae with large bulla on one side. Diagnosis: The greyish colour of the forewing and chequered fringe distinguish this from other members of the genus together with the multiple cornuti in the aedeagus. Life history: not known. Distribution: South Africa , Namibia . Type material: Holotype Deelfontein , Northern Cape BM Pyralidae Genitalia slide 17215 ( NHMUK ).
