Imago (fig. 10): Wingspan 19 mm . Head white, maxillary palpus tufted, a small black dot laterally, labial palpus white, length equal to diameter of eye, antenna whitish. Thorax and tegulae white. Forewing white, a black dot on costa near base and another before halfway, a broad brown weakly defined antemedian fascia, some dark brown suffusion in dorsal half of wing before second weakly defined fascia, two blackish spots before termen near apex. Hindwing base white, a dark fuscous antenedian fascia, a secibd fascia comprising a pair of dark fuscous lines separated by whitish, surrounded by fuscous suffusion, termen white. Abdomen white with blackish spots on segments 3 and 5, further dark markings on 7. Male genitalia: not examined. Female genitalia: not known. PLATE 1. Hyperlais , Crambicybolomia and Goniophysetis 1. Type material: Holotype Malawi , Southern Region , Mulanje District , Lujeri Tea Estate , Guest House 700m 9.ii.2004 L. Aarvik ( NHMO ).
