Material examined ( A. veronicae sp. nov. ): ISRAEL : Mount Hermon [Hermon], 1650 m , 20.iv.1969 , H. Bytinski-Salz ( 6♂ ) ( OLML , SMNHTAU ) . Remarks. Israeli male specimens identified as A . semirubra ( Warncke 1969 ; Pisanty et al . 2018 ) actually belong to the newly described A . veronicae sp. nov. This confusion has arisen due to the rarity of A. veronicae material in collections and the absence of females, which are radically different from those of A. semirubra .
